Redwood Inn in Green Bay

Best meal I've had in a long time, great atmosphere and friendly and fast staff, great experience!

Redwood Inn, always packed, broasted chicken very yummy, deep fried perch is very good as well as the other fish entrees, you get 2 baked potatoes really, you cant go wrong here, for dessert... grasshopper drinks. They dont take reservations so have someone from your group get there to sign in, the wait staff comes around, takes your order, then seats you at table when your order is ready.

Very good to eat. The perch did seem to be much smaller than when we were there last. That was a disappointment.

Fantastic perch, walleye and jumbo shrimp and a couple Belgian beverages. And plenty of everything for take home!

Great food and decor. Terrible service! I am shocked when I read other reviews saying friendly staff or great staff! Because I found I didn't even feel welcome even when it came time to pay! We were just there 0/11/19. Honestly, we had no clue how things worked. We go to the bar because there was no one to assist us. We ask the bartender who to let know we want to eat. She rudely asked us if we want a drink so we both order one. Then gives a random number. I say random because clearly they don't go in order as we got completely ignored. Finally an hour later someone comes to take our order. At the table we get our food. No idea if it's our waitress. Never see anyone again until we need to pay. We are rudely told they do not take plastic. Now being our first time there I can say they only cater to the locals. The bartender never acknowledged us until my glass was empty. Needs improvement on staff! Why and who should we even tip. Crazy!!!

Loved it! Here for the Packer's game and went there with a group of 6. Had a great meal of perch. Almost more than I could eat. But I did!

It was very confusing about what to do when you get there and how to get seated but if you are a regular there, you will know. We both got the fish. They were nice big, thick pieces of fish which I appreciated but the breading was thick and the seasoning was just ok.

Love the pork chops. The baby pike was very good! I hope it ends up on the menu.

Wisconsin style Supper Club - very good food and worth the try if you want the real experience. Big portions at good prices. The perch is lightly hand breaded and fried perfectly. Broasted chicken is very good as well.

Great service,. Excellent 👌 food. Extremely reasonable prices. Fantastic 👍 people. Long wait times on Friday and Sunday. Go early and enjoy good cocktails. Have fun, I dare you not to.

Very cool place. Packer gear everywhere. Food was very good and you get plenty. If you order a baked potato as a side, you get two. Gets very very busy so be prepared to wait a long time. Like hours. Cash only is a con. Definitely a place to try.

If your going on a friday or saturday go early. Food is excellent waitstaff is fast and efficientIt is quite a drive for me but well worth it. You will not leave hungry !

Always friendly employees from hostess to owners. Consistent menu and very reasonable prices. The food is beyond good and includes an ice cream dessert. Would always recommend dinning at the Redwood Inn.

Delicious perch dinners more than you can eat

I had a takeout order and went 45 mins late. My bad I didn't inform them my delay. When I arrived , they cooked full new fish fries for me as the older one was sitting for 45 mins, even when I offered to take the food cooked earlier for me. Their customer service is awesome

Food was good and prices are very reasonable,but service was absolutely to slow. Waited almost 45 minutes just to get a table, then another 10 to get the food and another 15 minutes to get the check after eating. Never had anyone check on us to ask if everything was ok. It's very confusing on the way they do the ordering and service. Nothing was explained to us, especially if this is your first time. If you have 1 1\2 hours to kill then it's fine, but we were in a hurry.

Outstanding experience. Food was very reasonably price and service was good and quick. Even with the place being very busy, our food came quickly and was great. Chicken dinner was good with a huge portion, enough to need a to-go box. Should be on your list of places in your dinner rotation.

The food is same (more or less) as other local places, nothing new. But it was cooked well and served HOT, even though it was busy. The stand out for me was that the staff (and I mean ALL the staff) was so super friendly and had a smile and accommodated all requests with a genuine smile. So that's cool.

Went there for dinner tonight with my friends family, wife, and our 20 month old. Was enjoying the atmosphere and waited the hour, which was no problem. We got seated and had the food fast. Our little guy decided to squeeze the butters, they didn't explode or open for that matter. The hostess came over and grabbed them from our table and said she didn't want them to get put back in the cup, which wasn't going to happen. Then she proceeded to stare at our table as if we were being a bother for the rest of our dinner. As we got ready to go i noticed she left the podium so she didn't have to be present as we left, my opinion. Either she is that bitter of a woman or she doesn't like kids? Kids didn't scream or cause commotion. Hopefully don't have to feel like a liability again at a restaurant with my family.

They arranged an excellent taco bar for an event we were there for! And the owner came out to greet us.

The Redwood Inn is a northeastern Wisconsin institution. The place is always busy and the staff is very friendly. Probably the best broasted chicken you will ever have! Until my last visit, I didn't even know that they had more than chicken on the menu. I look forward to trying some of their other offerings!

Great menu, we were happy to have fish on a Sunday. I gave four stars for the fact they brought the great tasting dessert they provide before we were even close to being done with our meal. My children then stopped eating the meal because dessert was there.

Very good Perch Plate. Monstrous portion. I wouldn't get the fries again. Crinkle cut fries are just about the worst style. I should've ordered the baked potatoes as a side. Also they don't accept debit/credit cards so I had to spend extra money at an ATM inside just so I could pay. Still worth it in the end because the Perch was so good. Good tarter sauce as well. No wait at all at lunchtime. Food arrived within 5 to 10 minutes. I must've arrived early enough. (Around 12:30pm Friday)

Amazing food and prices. Everything they do is spectacular. It's the epitomy of Wisconsin food, hospitality, and ambiance.

Cash only, so be prepared. Place has amazing BBQ chicken in Thursdays. Drinks are cheap and the food is priced really low as well. $20-30 can get you food and a couple drinks for 2 people.

Excellent homemade food reasonably priced!!The best part is the STUFFING!! Why are they the only ones who have figured this out?! It will increase your business and you cannot find it anywhere! Would love mashed potatoes but of it meant no stuffing then never mind. Cole slaw is good also! Great place! Thank you!!
